As a college student, we are aware that there are still a plethora of students that are in the process of choosing a major which could be one of the biggest turning points of their lives. Many of them fear choosing the wrong major and regret their decision later on in life. This analysis will provide the necessary information to help students decide on their majors as well as understand the potential of their future careers.
Throughout this analysis, we will use data provided by the American Community Survey 2010-2012 Public Use Microdata Series containing data (employment status, gender, salary, major) from surveys of recently graduated students and graduate students’ ages.
